Pullman Instruments was founded by Colin Smith in 1980. We provide Sales, Hire, Service, Repair and Calibration to a wide range of test, measurement and process control instrumentation.

Pullman is a senior player, our supplier list is instantly recognizable, our ability is proven and our capability is extensive. Our Quality Management system operates to UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001: 2000.

In 2001 Pullman acquired a small manufacturing company, Flow-Mon Ltd. This sister company is headed by Nathan Smith. Since 1971 Flow-Mon have been manufacturing robust and reliable Flow Indicators and in the last four years has seen a resurgence in the market for its worldwide products. Flow-Mon offer indicators with switches that show the flow on many applications, Water, Oil and most Chemicals. Readings can be taken via 4-20mA for use on loop systems.

During the last three years growth has been over 50%. Distribution has expanded into new areas with the latest being concentrated into China. Flow-Mon export into the USA, South Africa, Europe, China and throughout the Far East.

All products are machined, assembled and calibrated on site at the head office and factory in Harrogate. Flow-Mon has begun manufacturing a complete Flow-Mon product range of ‘Rising Ball’ and ‘Spinner’ Indicators, made from Stainless Steel with options for Bronze and Steel.
