Environmental Policy Statement
Pullman Instruments as a company provides essential
repair /calibration /supply of electrical, electronic,
mechanic and physical test equipment to industrial companies,
Hospital Trusts, Local Authorities and other organizations.
Pullman Instruments recognizes the need for change
with respect to the operation of the various departments
and the functions they perform which can be detrimental
to the environment.
Pullman Instruments also recognizes the need to work
with suppliers to maintain control of any aspects that
may have an influence on the environment.
The areas in which Pullman Instruments is currently
working to improve its performance are as follows:
- Reducing the amount of waste produced by a review
and reassessment of the current services and products
used the reuse and recycling of resources and moving
the company forward to meet existing and future anticipated
environmental legislation.
- Identifying current aspects arising from activities
to determine environmental impacts on a past, present
and future anticipated basis.
- Put in place necessary control measures where needed
to prevent any pollution.
- Implement objectives and targets and periodically
review them to check performance to maintain continual
improvement.
- Provide essential environmental awareness training
to all members of staff.
- Make any necessary changes to ensure that the wholly
responsible for the control of the EMS and shall provide
any essential resources needed to ensure compliance.
Pullman Instruments management recognizes that they
