  • Airflow: Pullman Instruments’ facilities enable the calibration of Anemometers in regard to all makes and models to BS 1042 Standard.

The Open Jet Wind Tunnel we use has been designed and built for rapid and accurate calibrations over a range of 0.25 m/sec to 30.5 m/sec.

Master meters are used to perform turbulence tests to maintain uniformity of airstream to ensure stability of readings.

  • RH Humidity: Pullman Instruments calibrate a wide range of humidity testers from Hand Held Units, Data Loggers to Transmitters and Chart Recorders.

Humidity is produced via a Hygrogen Generator built using the latest technology to create controlled environmental conditions over a range of 5°C to 50°C and 5% to95% RH.

Calibrations are carried out in minutes rather than hours due to rapid and controlled change of equilibrium inside the test chamber.

  • Pressure/Vacuum: Pressure is measured over the range of 1Pa to 16000 psi using precision Micromanometers, Pressure Sensors and Dead Weight Testers.

  • Sound Level: Sound Level Meters are tested using the Gen Rad Omnical Sound Level Calibrator which produces 6 octave frequencies between the range of 125 Hz to 4 KHz and 5 calibrated sound pressures from 74 dB to 114 dB with the added capability of producing various tone bursts.

  • Temperature: Temperatures sourced from Precision Reference Blocks, incorporating the latest Peltler technology and referenced to a Master Thermometer and Sensor between the ranges -40°C to 650°C. Temperatures are simulated using Precision Voltage and Resistance Sources between the ranges -270°C to 1372°C.
